ACES Recyclers and Drop-off Centres

ACES has established a collection network of drop-off locations across Nova Scotia that will accept electronic items regulated by the Province of Nova Scotia from both businesses and residents.  There is no charge for dropping off these items.  To find an ACES Centre near you click here

Businesses are required to call ahead to schedule a delivery of a large load of unwanted electronics. Typically, large loads constitute more than 25 electronic items. However, it is up to the discretion of the Drop-off Centre owner-operator to determine if the load is large enough to require a scheduled drop-off.

The drop-off locations will prepare the unwanted electronics for transportation to a consolidation centre in Nova Scotia where the material will be sorted and shipped to approved and audited recyclers. All recyclers are required to adhere to Electronics Product Stewardship Canada’s Recycling Vendor Qualification Standard that ensures that all components of the electronics are recycled responsibly.
